Awesome! Good for you! You really don't know what can come up with these little ones.
Good luck tomorrow! I will have you and your Bella in my thoughts and prayers. Oh, and your daughter, too. I imagine she feels terrible about all of this.

So happy for you and your little Bella! I hope the vet has good news and will work with you. Hooray for Ladyjane for helping you get this plan in action! She is one of a very few that are willing to step up to the plate and actually help when help is needed!!! Please keep us posted on Bella!

Benn following this thread. And as always I am so happy to see the wonderful women of YT pull together for the OP and be so supportive. This is why YT rules!!!:thumbup:

Linda, once again, you are amazing. And I'm so happy you could help the OP. As always you're such a blessing to these our babies, and that goes to everyone else that contributed to this thread.

OP I'm so happy things are working out for your baby. Don't be too hard on your daughter, accidents happen. I dropped our Cairn once because she squirmed after a squirrel, and I felt terrible when she fell on her leg. I cried, and cried, and told my Mom I'd pay for her vet visit out of my piggy bank!

Keep up updated!

We're getting some complaints about this thread regarding public offers of financial help. At this time, I can't read thru all of this thread to see exactly what's been said. However, any/all offers of financial help should be done via PM only - as per YT Rules. YT can't support public discussions of direct financial support; if any member desires to help another member financially, this is the member's choice - however, please keep those discussions private. Thank you.

The content of this last message infuriates me. What kind of person would complain about someone trying to help another person in need??? What mean-spirited individual would write to a moderator of this board to complain about someone stepping up to help. Alisha did not publicly ask for help...there was no begging on here. She came on here to ask for advice; the thread started to head south when someone suggested that amputation was a valid alternative, which in my opinion is absurd, and Ladyjane offered to help this single mom save this poor baby's leg and someone complains about that...unbelievable. I would think that this would be the example that all us, especially the owners and moderators of YorkieTalk, would like to set. Is this not what this board was founded on??? Help and advice for these little babies??? Are you really going to let the personalities and personal vendettas of a few stand in the way of some seeing the good will of others? I witness the most awful conversations going back and forth all the time in these threads, and nothing is said - now someone does something extraordinary and wonderful and someone complains??? You all need to reevaluate the policies here if this is what our response to help is going to be. Ladyjane should be commended for her actions, not told to do this privately. I don't think her actions were anything but good and I wish there were more like her on this board. I wish that I, myself, had given as unselfishly as she had. I don't think Ladyjane offered help for public accolades, she offered help because she truly cares about these little ones. This is just wrong.

I think what Ladyjane did was a very nice thing but weve always been asked to do it privately not just by Ann but Admin also and seeing some of the things Ive seen over the yrs they have good reasons for doing it

This has been in the YT Rules and Regulations - for YEARS. I don't recall anyone saying or implying that Alisha is asking for help - that was never mentioned. There are ALWAYS complaints whenever a thread involves money - many of them from rescue people themselves, btw, so this should prove it has nothing whatsoever to do who or what is offering money.

Again, this has been the rule for years, and will continue to be the rule. This is Admin's board and Admin's rules - and these rules have been well thought out for very good reasons. YT is not and will not be a place where we offer public monetary support.

I certainly didn't mean to step on anyone's toes. We don't need to choose sides. I never intended to debate the rules of YorkieTalk, I assure you I don't have the time or energy. It just seems to me with all of the argumentative and petty posts I have seen recently, that common sense would prevail and we would all be happy there was a good and happy outcome. I am always so happy to see when someone is helped or a baby's leg saved, the very last thing I could possibly imagine doing would be to write and complain about the person helping. If more people could concentrate on the good that is being done and the positive outcome, YorkieTalk would be a much more welcome and safer place to visit. People should be able to take personalties out of it and concentrate on what is best for the BABIES, not the people. My point was we should have been happy that Alisha had found an avenue to help her baby and that she seemed relieved and happy, and then first thing this morning the mood was tempered when someone complained about the way in which help was given. That is what I found so mean spirited.
