advice and prayers please I really need eveyone's prayers right now. I woke up this morning and my little Ranger had thrown up a couple of times i didn't freak out at first but then i realized he just didn't seem right so i took him to the vet hospital. They ran tests and told me his sugar was really low and that he was dehydrated and knocking on deaths door. He is 4 months old and my life i don't know what i will do if he doesn't pull through. Has anyone had the same type of situation happen to them any advice would be helpful. Jordan Ranger's mommy |
I don't have any advice, but I hope you and little Ranger make it though your tough time. Is he still @ the hospital? |
Little Ranger will be in my prayers. Please keep us posted. Joy, Nikki and Chloe Rose |

Vets calling it Hemoraggic Gastric Enteritis, added to what you have said they had bloody diareaha. They were kept at the doggy hospital and fed glucose, IV antibiotics and hydration for 24-48 hours. They are all fine now. It is the emergency needs that are so dangerous. Has your vet suggested the baby stay there for emergency treatment and hydration ? Sheesh, I never even heard of this before and now it is all I am hearing/seeing. It is horrifying. Soooo scary. Prayers out to you and your little sick baby. |
Saying a little prayer for your baby - I hope he's ok and they get him stabilized....Good luck ! |
Ya have my prayers also keep us posted |

I am so sorry this happened. Good thing you were on top of it and took him to the vet. I hope he recovers quickly. Praying for you and him :aimeeyork |
I wanted to let everyone know that Ranger is home and back to being healthy. It was quite a scare and i learned that Karo syrup can help at the onset of these attacks to prevent the sugar levels from getting so low when they are throwing up. Than you to everyone for all the prayers and advice, you are all wonderful. Love Jordan and Little Ranger |
was it a hypoglycemia attack? |
