Kuma Although I have not encountered the C disease, it seems it mainly comes from an infected adults feces, probably the mother. It is common in pups when they are stressed by a move etc, especially when so young and small. If your home was originally C free, thr dog already had the disease, and you are cleaning up any waste from the pup, and he is on meds, he should be fine. Did the vet suggest the precautions you should take? As I said before you are doing a great job!! Good luck! |
I meant to include this link in my last post: Coccidiosis In Dogs (Coccidia) - Symptoms,Treatment & Prevention Sorry, I got distracted with 4 furgirls trying to get on my lap as I was typing in bed. |
Info Thanks for the info :) I will check out that site! |
Update :) I am so happy to report that we have achieved regular poop status :D He is definately feeling much better!! I think his ears are doing better too. He still doesn't like the ear wash or drops but his ears aren't full of crud anymore. Also, I got a $100 money order in the mail from his breeder to cover the costs of the meds I had to buy for him  |
