| Just came back from picking up Bentley from the vet. Xray came back fine. The vet gave me prednisone to use short term and ST-CF & S/O drops. He started panting last night before bed and it lasted about 15 minutes and he slept well the whole night. This morning he started again. It just started out of the blue. Not excessive exercising and it is not heat related. I am such a worrier that off to the vet we went. Thank you all for your prayers. It is such a comfort to know there are others who care. Right now he is sleeping at my feet. I am hoping the meds do help him.

| Bentley isn't panting as much as he was. Last night he would wake up and pant. I would reach down to him, pet him gently on his sides and he would go back to sleep. Today, to me he seems to be doing better. On the up side, his appetite and going to the bathroom are normal. Thank you again for your postings as it sure is a comfort to know you are there for any of us that have worries about our babies.

| I'm so sorry to read this! Glad he seems better. It's just terrible when our babies are not feeling well or acting differently. It scares you silly. You were right to go right to the vet. What labwork was done & what is the vet's working diagnosis?
