I think at times like this, the only thing that can ease your mind is talking with other members of YT, we understand when these little ones are sick just how helpless one feels.

It sounds like she is getting excellent care and you are so up on things. How old is she? I think you said earlier a pup.

Prayers coming right now so I don't forget.

Her estimated age is 2 - 3 years. :) She's a youngin' who has been through way too much in her short life.
She had the horrific injuries when we got her...and had something happen previously as she is missing one ear and has a long scar down her neck. :(
She weighed 5.5 pounds and was nothing but bones when she came to us. It was really horrible the shape she was in. The worst I have ever had to deal with.

Oh My Goodness, so many great people here that help these little ones. Now that I am retired, I can't afford to take on a responsibility like that. I can't stand to see them in pain so even if I had the money, I don't know if I could handle it.:lovewings

Summer is improving. She went outside this morning with all of us and did go to the fence line with her pals when the little squirrel came by to stir things up. She did not bark and run as usual, but just that she went out and showed some interest is a good sign. Her tail is up a lot more...she still tucks it some, but not as much.
They said yesterday that they feel she will be better now at home and she is on Cerenia and Metronidazole....and Bupranex prn for pain.
