Eye swollen small bump upper lid Kristy is 2 1/2 years old and she is amazing! She loves to chase bunnies in the yard (though she'd really never actually catch one LOL) She is the love of our lives! This morning we noticed she was pawing at her eye more than usual and it seemed swollen to me. I also noticed as I was brushing her that there is a bump in the upper lid. I am kind of a nervous Nellie so I don't want to just run to the Vet. Anyone have any thoughts or ideas? Thanks in advance!

Maybe Kristy has an ingrown hair or some kind of an insect bite? If it doesn't look better tomorrow I would have the vet take a look at it. Hope it's better soon!

If there is a bump/lump she needs to see the vet ASAP. Never wait & see when it comes to the eyes as it could cost the dog her vision. Please update after you take her to the vet.

I can be a bit of a nervous Nellie when it comes to Kristy! Thanks for the replies! It's just that her eye was kinda closed and she was pawing at it and she is sooo sweet and never complains! I think her Vet thinks I'm kinda crazy cause I'll take her in for stupid stuff but better sae than sorry LOL Anyway.... thanks!
