update on Charm
The complete blood work panel came back with everything in the normal range. She had the GI with contrast test yesterday and he saw nothing in it. Her x-rays showed gas in her belly and that she had eaten that day which I never saw her do. My vet said yesterday to give her a few more days on the stronger antibiotics and see if she improves. This morning she did drink her water and eat boiled chicken pureed with rice. Today she has perked up a lot more she is walking around looking bright eyes and she jump up against my leg wagging her tail which bought me to tears and she hasn't done that in weeks. My vet said to watch her make sure she eats and gets at least 4 oz of water a day. He said to keep her on the chicken and rice for a while and we'll see how she does. Gastritis is what he put down on my insurance form. Thank goodness I have pet insurance on all my babies. I'll keep anyone dated on her progress. Thank you for all being so caring. :) |
