When was the last time he drank water? Do you feed him soft food? I would call the vet ASAP. |

How old is he? Where did you get him from? Do you have a Vet? Does he seem dehyrated? pull a little on his skin does it snap back or stay up where you had pulled it at? Is he eating, is he playful, lethargic? How does he act?? It's really hard to say with little info. |

Try turkey baby food. That really helps my older Yorkie when she's off her food because of stress or anything. She loves it after I spoon the first bite into her. Sometimes you have to get something in their mouth before they will eat it. Also, I'm a believer in that Nurtra Cal. You can get it at the vets or any pet store. Just a bit to get their appetite going. Hope this helps. Probably it's just the stress from being adopted and all the new things going on. |
yorkie he is really skinney i can feel his back bone and his ribs he is going to the bath room that had his teeth taken out and he was fixed last week that is all thay told me |
That is so sad that a 10 yr old pup ends up in adoption. LIfe events happen I suppose to make things like that happen. I hope your pup will spring back and spend happy years with you. |

he is doing good he went to the vet and thay said he has round worm and thay gave him something he is doing better the humane sociad did not check for that and are vet does not think he is 10 years old he says he is not even 5 so i dont know we are new about yorkies so i dont know anything about them thankyou all for all the help :) |

poor baby - GOOD luck with him - and sometimes you can use a little syringe to give them water - he sounds like he was really needing a good home and he found one with you - GOOD LUCK with him - when a yorkie is in that kind of shape at only 5 years old - (no teeth and worms) he's had a very hard life.... :( :( :( that just breaks my heart to know how neglected or abused he must have been bless his heart - I hope he gets to feeling better. |
I think it is wonderful that you adopted him. It's a bummer that he was in such bad shape that they thought he was old but I would believe the vet more than the humane society regarding his age. The good news is that with proper care you should have many wonderful years with him. What's his name? |
he had a sieazer he just had a sieazer and we called to vet and he said we can do anything for it do you all know anything he just asked if he go ing anything and all he does is stay on the chair all day that is where he has been all day |

oh my gosh. what did the vet say? what happened with his seizure? have you tried feeding him something soft and moist? has he drank lately? im sorry i am asking so many questions, but please give us some more information so we can try to help you out as much as possible. i really hope your baby is okay. try to give him nutrical and call another vet. |
buddy he said if he does it agian comeon in but there is nothing i can do he stifend up all his legs were strate his head was shaking and he was drulling all over i was scared we have not had him 2 weeks i dont know what to do i dont want to give him back i love him the vet said it might be from streas i dont know we do have a 2 year old but we dont let her mess with him that much he will not eat this morning and will not drink i gave him water with a sureng i just dont know what to do are vet is not much help |
Needs water...will get dehydrated...take him to the vet immediatley! They might need to give him some IV fluids! |
What did the vet say? They cant do anything for him? Because of his age?? Or what, has he ever seen the dog? At all?? Is there any other vets around? I'd find one, and go,, This has been going on too long, there is a definate problem, and You need to find out what it is,,if it is just old and there is nothing you can do,,at least you'll know. |

My dog wouldn't drink or eat so I brought him to the vet and they gave him an IV of Liquids, She also told me to get wet food and mix water in it so he gets both. Hope this helps. |
i call out him name now and clap and wisal and he will not move not he used to look up or someing now he dont do anything we live in a rual place and we dont have much vet im going to try and get a vet in another town i just dont know if the sometown vet know anything i will have to go on into the city about 1 1/2hr drive where there are more vets than just 2 in the same vet office |
