| A Little Worried Last friday we took our two shih tzus to be neutered. We got a call a couple of hours later and the vet said that Oliver's liver enzyme count was high and she suggested that we wait on the results of the liver bile test that she gave him. Oliver is a year and a half he has a healthy appitite and is pooping and peeing great. He is a ball of energy. I hate the waiting for results. It panics me alot. Thank God Basil our 6 month old did fine. I'm grateful our vet is very careful and takes no chances. I just hope the results are not terrible. |

| Did the vet say what they are suspecting could be wrong? I will be praying that those results were incorrectly calculated or something - anything - and that everything will be normal now.

| Dont panic just yet, elevated enzymes can be for a variety of reasons, some big, some small. |

| Well the vet just called. She suggested an ultra sound or a liver bio which sometimes doesn't show anything. So we both decided to put him on meds for a couple of months and retest. In the meantime she will not even think about neutering him. |
