I get home today from work a little later than usual. Rosie is all excited to see me but throws up the yellow bile twice. She is not wanting to eat and just wants me to hold her. :(:( Her nose felt warm to me for a little while but it appears to be cool now. There really are no other symptoms. I honestly don't know what is going on with her. Urrrrgh.....I am a worried momma. :(:( Please keep my baby girl in your prayers.

I'm sorry to hear this. :( I hope she feels better soon. Keep her hydrated.

I will. And she did go pee when I got home. But now just wants momma to hold her. :( Wondering if I should do Nutri cal??

Well, I don't know. :confused: Keep a very close eye on her (which I know you will) and be ready to take her to the vet if needed.

Did she eat? I know when Daisy throw up bile, she feels better when she eats.

She ate a tiny tiny bit. Nothing like she normally eats at this time. I was thinking it was because I was late getting home. She normally eats at 4:00 and I didn't get home until a little after 5. Would that make her sick? She hasn't thrown up any more bile since she ate the few bites.

Could be. She's a sensitive dog.

ZoE throws up yellow bile when her stomach is empty and she's hungry. Strange thing is, when I put food in her bowl, she often won't then eat it, but if I hand feed her a bit of it, then a few minutes later, she will go and eat the rest from her bowl. Finicky lil pups, aren't they?

Well I did get her to eat some of the can I/D. About a tablespoon of it. So I guess we will see what happens from here. :(

Poor Rosie! Teddy and I send her hugs and prayers for her to feel better quickly.

I have read that dogs who are fed on strict schedules anticipate eating at the appointed time and their bodies start to produce the enzymes required to digest the food. When the food doesn't arrive on time, the enzymes have nothing to do and cause digestive upset. I think this is why Teddy would throw up a little bile in the morning if I overslept.

Honestly that makes a lot of sense because I feed her on a tight schedule. She eats about the same time in the morning and in the afternoon. I am hoping that is all it is. Thanks for the hugs and prayers. Teddy hugs will make her feel all better. :)

Thanks Michelle. Hoping she kicks this without a vet visit. Hope Jada is feeling better today.

I\'m sorry little Rosie was sick. I believe she may have been sick because her tummy was empty. My little Muffin used to get sick if she went too long without eating.
