So they are probably just sitting back reading. |

When it says "signed on", what exactly does that mean? Does that mean you have logged-in or that you have the website pulled up? I seem to always be logged in and only have to re-log-in very occasionally. Does that mean I'm always "signed on"? |

The last time she was on was a few hours after she posted the question. I really hope she comes back and updates, but I'm fearful that the pup may have died from the injuries. |

I'm fearing that, too. Oh, I hope if it did, it had some pain medication at the vet's and didn't just pass at home hurting badly. Is it possible for a young dog to survive a fall like that unscathed if it fell say on a cushioned lawn chair? |

I'd just be so worried about concussion and internal damage to vital organs, internal bleeding. And the pain. If I fell just two feet off something onto my belly or side or back, I would be hurting all over! |

It is really hard to think of what kind of shape this pup is in. There is no way he was okay after a fall like that |

Back in 1970, we had a neighbor that had a pug puppy....it fell from the second story balcony from their home...landed on the grass...did not sustain any obvious injuries, ie no broken bones, no limping....they did not take the baby to the vet, as "it was fine"....it died, seems like 3 weeks later from a lacerated spleen or liver, I cant remember....that is EXACTLY what I thought of when I read this..... |

Ugh! What an upsetting post. That poor puppy. |
I hope she got the pup to the vet. She might be afraid to post updates at this point though.... :( |
Afraid? We\'d be relieved to hear if this dog has been vet-checked and has been treated or humanely euthanized if nothing could be done, though that would be so tragic, at least the dog wouldn\'t be suffering. It is the wondering whether or not the little thing is hurt and maybe hasn\'t even been checked out that is so awful. Even as cautious as we all try to be, our dogs can do things we just didn\'t account for and get hurt. But posting a scary story with no follow-up just leaves such worry and wondering among all us Yorkie-lovers. |

My memory is terrible...but I am going to remember this OP\'s "name" and hopefully, if they ever sign on again, I am going to remember to ask about this baby..... |
probably someone just trying to start something. looks like it worked. so sad. |
Very sad. I would very much like to know the outcome of this situation.... Especially if this is a real event... |
The OP did say the pup has an appointment for today... for vaccines... |
The OP posted on another thread last evening, asking about the vaccines scheduled for today....no mention about the fall. I asked for an update on the pup..... |
Oh, I hope the vet was told about the fall and the pup examined and tested in that light. Were the tests that were done such as x-rays and neuro with the history of a high fall mentioned? I haven\'t read that thread yet but if one doesn\'t give a good history of recent trauma to the vet, he is just doing a well-puppy exam which is far different and he could miss or fail to interpret something not quite right. Sure hope this baby had a miracle and escaped serious injury! Even if he\'s not badly injured, he must be so very tender and sore - hope she asked the vet for something for that. |
