Possibly ate an Almond Rocca I was outside doing some chores and when I came inside I found a little bag that had at one time contained Almond Rocca - the toffee candy that is covered in chocolate, rolled in almonds and covered with gold foil - behind the couch with Scarlett by it. Some of the candies in the bag had foil on them and some didn't. I don't know for sure how much candy was left inside the bag, maybe one, maybe two pieces. I looked everywhere on the carpet and cannot find any evidence that any was eaten. These are pretty big and you would think some evidence would be left in the carpet. So I don't know IF Scarlett ate them or maybe my other dog got them. Considering it is milk chocolate and I don't even know if she ate them, what would be your advice on what to do? Thanks in advance. |
No replies. It's been a little over an hour and so far no problems showing up. |
Try smelling their breath... and look for residue between the teeth... |
Check this out too: http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/eme...eight-dog.html (better than me asking you a zillion questions) |
KJC, We tried smelling both dogs breath and looking at their teeth when we first discovered it. Couldn't detect anything. I have looked at the charts and trying to guesstimate how much chocolate would be covering them. I think we should be ok. |
For future reference, you can always call an Emergency Vet Clinic and they will advise you! |
One of ours ate a Bounty Bar and half of another and we were terrified. Called the vet and she said the dog would be alright. Which she was in the end, but I think we counted over 30 pukes all over the house when all was said and done. Little bugger...It was then that we learned she could, and would, jump on coffee tables from the couch beside it. |
