Please pray for Teddy We went up North to stay with my parents for two weeks, and it was going great until yesterday when I noticed Teddy was not eating anything. We tried Nutri cal but he wouldn't have it either. But I totally freaked out when he had diarrhea with that sour smell. We immediately took him to vet, who suspect it might be Parvo. I don't get it, Teddy is fully vaccinated. He's 11 months old. I am so worried I cannot sleep. Please send your prayers. Is it because of cold weather? This is the first time Teddy has to experience cold weather and he didn't like it |

Sending up prayers for Teddy. Our vet told us that there are some strains of parvo that the their are no vaccines for, pretty scarey. |
Our vet tested his stool today and the result is negative, so no Parvo. What a relief. He's still tired and hasn't eaten anything, but we will be giving him some Nutri Cal today and see how he feels. His stool is less brown (less bloody) and it doesn't smell as bad as it did yesterday. Thank you so much for your prayers! I can't thank you enough. I will keep you updated on his progress. |

Teddy is on Nutri Plus Gel now. I tried giving him some boiled rice today, but he didn't eat it. He also doesn't drink any water, so we just use a syringe to get some PediaLyte down his throat. It's a constant fight, after which he is all wet and looking tiny, he is normally around 5lbs, but probably less now. I broke down in tears today and I cannot sleep, I just stay awake and watch his breath |

I cannot thank you enough for your prayers. Yesterday I was pretty upset, because we had our flights back home today and even though it's only 1.5hr flight I was worried Teddy won't be able to fly. Vet thought he was ready so we took the risk. I am so glad we did. Teddy is so much happier back at home, warm weather suits him better I think. He still eat little, but is getting his energy back. We are taking him to our Vet to run blood test to make sure he's fully recovered and also to find out the reason why. His stool is firming up and not bloody anymore. I am so relieved. |
