I do feel better it's not Parvo, but he's still weak and vomitting :(

Really!! I was very nervous when we first brought him in (I never let him out of the house before having all his vaccinations), we kept a close eye on him (I had a sad experience before). But I've been less careful as he grew up, he is normally completely healthy and happy dog, full of energy. So this has been totally shockiing.

Has he prescribed anything like Metronidazole? I am glad he tested negative. That is wonderful news. Now, to get him healed and back to eating.

I'll have to check that, Is it recommended? I feel so clueless.
He had diarrhea today in the evening, my husband said it was firmer and less smelly, but honestly I am still freaked out. He hasn't eaten anything, but Nutri gel, is that normal???

Teddy is on Nutri Plus Gel now. I tried giving him some boiled rice today, but he didn't eat it. He also doesn't drink any water, so we just use a syringe to get some PediaLyte down his throat. It's a constant fight, after which he is all wet and looking tiny, he is normally around 5lbs, but probably less now. I broke down in tears today and I cannot sleep, I just stay awake and watch his breath

Prayers for you and Teddy. So glad parvo was neg... did the vet give any meds? or have an idea what the cause might be?

I cannot thank you enough for your prayers. Yesterday I was pretty upset, because we had our flights back home today and even though it's only 1.5hr flight I was worried Teddy won't be able to fly. Vet thought he was ready so we took the risk. I am so glad we did. Teddy is so much happier back at home, warm weather suits him better I think. He still eat little, but is getting his energy back. We are taking him to our Vet to run blood test to make sure he's fully recovered and also to find out the reason why. His stool is firming up and not bloody anymore. I am so relieved.
