| odd behavior Brandi has been exhibiting odd behavior. Every now and then it seems like she can't get comfortable and she licks me obsessively. Whatever discomfort she is feeling will pass but I am starting to noticed it with more frequency. I've rushed her to the emergency vet on more than one occassion when she goes through this but they could never find anything wrong with her. She has had blood work done, stool samples and urinalysis. This was just done as she had some dental work done and from the samples taken she appears to be healthy. She has a vet appointment on Wednesday for a uti check up....another urinalysis. I will be asking the vet abouta this again. Could the UTI be causing her discomfort? She is on orabax and has been on it for the last two weeks. This discomfort has been going on before she started on the medicine so I know that's not it. It's no telling how long she had the UTI because she didn't have any symptoms....no blood in the urine etc. She will be on the orabax. She's just had a yearly where they took stool samples and urinalysis. With the exception of the UTI, everything looks good. Eveything else with her is normal. SHe is eating as always and still very active. I am hoping it's just the UTI and the medicine will cleared it up. |

| A UTI can be painful. Did the vet check her anal glands ? if not I would ask for that to be checked. I hope they can find an answer for your babies discomfort. |

| She is just licking you? Maybe she likes the saltiness of your body and could be exhibiting anxiety.

| She will constantly lick my face and herself along with being restless and not able to get comfortable. There are no obvious signs of pain and sometime she will eat grass which is an indication of an upset tummy. I don't think it's anxiety because she is usually very laid back. |
