I hope your baby feels better soon. There is a vet at the er clinic we use a lot with 4 yorkies that I feel does not like small dogs and is not good at diagnosing. One time I felt uncomfortable with his diagnosis so I asked the receptionist when the next vet shift change was and came back hours later. Now if that vet is on duty I ask for another ( they usually have 2 vets on duty). So I can understand your reluctance to take him back but maybe you can see if another vet is available. |
What ER vet are you using? The one that is close to Phila? I cannot remember exactly where it was. I know they used to not have any ER vets in your area. There is a vet in Absecon that has 24 hour care for their clients. Might be worth using them so that you would not have to travel so far in an emergency. It is on Rt. 9...I think Absecon Veterinary Hospital is the name. I would call around and ask ... |
Yep....here it is: Absecon Veterinary Hospital New Jersey Vet You might want to call them and ask if they still offer 24 hour emergency service to their clients. I used them for years and was very happy with them. One of my pups was bleeding one night and thank God they were there...because the EC was an hour away from there. |
