| Lots of itching! Please please help. Hi everyone, I am very worried because my poor baby boy Louis I Keeps itching all over. It is to the point where his scalp is about to tear and is very red. Also it had spread all over his body. Now when I look closely there are specks of red dots. I haven't seen any flees and he doesn't really go out to get fleas. Please help any advice is greatly appreciated. I was told to give him very little Benadryl which has helped. But I dont want to keep drugging him. Thanks in advance!! |

| You need to get your baby to the vet. It sounds like Louis is in agony. It could be any number of things.

| I agree that he needs to be seen by a vet. It could be allergies, mites or something else. Please keep us updated and good luck with little Louis.

| What did you find out? One of mine, Bevo, has allergies and usually gets an allergy shot every month... He seems to do better in the winter... His mainly affects his eyes, but I always know when his meds are running out as he begins itching again. We keep soft cones (collars) on hand if need be to get him by until his next shots occasionally If need be... Good luck!!

| Jeds had something close to this. He had a reaction to something, broke out in spots, then the spots turned a red color, then they turned brown. He was itching and itching. Turned out it was a staff infection! I would say... get that pup in and see what is going on. |
