I am just seeing this and am so glad Thor is doing better and gets to come home. It is so stressful when they are sick. |
So happy to hear that Thor is doing so well and will be coming home tomorrow! Also...very happy to hear that the yummy lamp is gone ;) Sounds like he is recovering pretty well. Keep us posted!! |
That is wonderful news!! I've followed your story all the way through. I don't always post because sometimes I don't feel I have anything to add. I am truly thrilled that everything turned out so well. Our lab mix grandpuppy ate Gorrilla Glue a couple of years ago. She almost died and had a gallon ziploc bag of foam taken out of her stomach. The one thing I remember is that she had to have very small meals very often for a while. They didn't want anything to stretch her stomach. I'm sure you'll get instructions from your vet tomoorrow. Marley is fine now and actually living with us. Bless you - I will keep you and Thor in my prayers. |
Great news that Thor is coming home!!! :) |
Yeah...Thor gets to come home today!!. I know he'll feel better once he's home and so will mom. |
Wonderful news about Thor coming home. Sending prayers for his complete recovery. |
Home at last 2 Attachment(s) :) My fur baby is home thank you God! Here are two pictures taken today as you can see he is still a little bit tired and hurting a little. After he naps he gets all happy and wants to play and then lays back down. When I pet him or kiss on him he kisses me back and stays reall close to me. He is sitting on our laps and napping there instead of jumping and intigating things but I can tell he already feels better. Just wanted to let everyone know he is doing much better! :aimeeyork |
Ohhh what a sweet baby!!! He is so lucky to have a mom who recognized a problem and got him to the vet and treated quickly! :) |
Oh I am so glad that Thor is now home. What sweet pictures. Prayers continue for his recovery. |
sending you prayers he is better soon |
So glad that he is home and doing so well....he did give you (and us) quite a scare. He looks so sleepy in his blanket....just adorable. It was a good thing that recognized that you needed to get him to a vet asap and didn't wait. Too many people wait to see what happens and with these little guys, it can go bad fast. He is lucky to have you. |
Just checking on Thor to see how he is doing? |
Recovering Nicely Thor continues to recover nicely, he is more active and allert. His incision site is nice and clean I think its going to heal very nicely. The vet did a great job with the closing. He continues to eat well and although he does not like the meds he has to take he is not putting up to much of a fight. Today is his last day of pain meds but the way he has been acting I dont think he will need any more. They have him eating some soft food and everyday we increase his regular kibble into it. I think he is getting tired of the soft food because he will sit in front of the bowl for 30 min and pick out all the kibble and leave me the soft food. Silly puppy! |
So happy that he is on the mend :) |
Wonderful that Thor is doing so well!!! :) |
