I'm happy to hear that he is better. Pippin has IBD and it is very scary when they are vomiting or passing blood. I'm lucky that he doesn't mind taking pills. I can put it in his wet food or put a little cheese around it. I hope today is a better day. |
Bailey also has chronic Pancreatitis, so I can't put it in cheese or PB. I can only put it in fruit. The little brat found it this morning and spit it on the floor. LOL Quote:

how did you know he had this? :icon5: Quote:
My dogs have had boughts of vomiting and/or diarrhea before, and they seem to have very sensitive stomachs when it comes to treats and food. I never really thought much of it because it never lasted long. Since I lost Rusty on 9/19/11 to vomiting and bloody diarrhea, I'm wondering if he had something I missed. The vet says she doesn't know what caused it, and I just couldn't let her cut into him to possibly get an answer. Any info would be apppreciated! Thanks! |
I feed BB Natural Balance Fish and sweet Potato canned food 6 times a day. I give him 3/4 of a can, but I split it up in 6 small meals a day because it seems like he digests the food better. Plus kibble expands in their stomach and is hard for her to digest. I also give him Organic Canned Pumpkin, a Power Probiotic, Lipozyme and Bioliv twice a day. Without all of that he would be a mess vomiting and having the runs. The dr. found out by doing tests (not sure which ones) that he has chronic Pancreatitis and IBD. He gets no people food what so ever, he only gets Ask Ariel Your Pet Nutritionist Wildside salmon treats or fruit. Let me know if you have any other questions, I will help as much as possible. |
