| Little butt problem... My yorkie has a swollen anus.. I'm pretty sure I have never noticed it before. It doesn't seem to bother him though. It's swollen and red. His droppings look normal. What should I do?

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I would have the vet see him as soon as possible. Nikki, my male had anal rupture and it is very painful for them. Hopefully you can prevent this by getting him in right away. Maybe it is just a little irritated but it needs to be checked out. Keep us posted.

| pictures I went to the vet today and they informed me his lump was not normal. They decided to take a sample and send it off to the lab. I go to this vet because my aunt and uncle trust them with their puggles. I haven't had too many problems with them but they can never tell me what's wrong or give me a straight answer. I spent $160 on the test today and I will find out in 3 days if he needs surgery or if it's something they can try and take care. I have pictures if anyone would like to see... Any help would be appreciated. Thank you
