Oh, I love this update!!!! I am so glad that Gatsby is well...and also that the bills will be paid by the insurance company.

Wow! How scary this must have been for all of you! I'm glad he is recovering as well as can be expected & happy to hear insurance will cover it all.

So glad to hear Gatsby is recovering well and the owners of the Corgi are taking their responsibility and Gatsby's injuries seriously. My prayers are with your baby and your family. :aimeeyork Keep us posted.

Hope all goes well at the vet appt this morning and that the drainage tubes can be removed. :)

Very happy to hear Gatsby is recuperating and that his family is taking good care of him. Also glad that his medical bills are being taken care of by the Corgi owner's insurance.

Thanks again for the kind wishes. The tubes are gone and staples are to be removed in one week. He is such a silly boy. The lawn mower dudes were over yesterday and he ran around a bit, and over did it. I thought that his pain would control his desire to run around, but that is not true. After he did that, he could barely walk the rest of the night. He was walking OK for short distances today, so we have learned we have to watch his exsertion levels. He even wanted to play fetch today, but that was not going to happen!

I'm glad he is feeling better, but I hope he didn't hurt himself inside. It's hard to stop them when they're feeling better, isn't it?;)

So glad to hear he is recovering and wanting to run around, even if it is not the best thing for him to do. Also, great news about the insurance.

I'm so happy to hear that Gatsby is recovering so well and that the corgi owners are doing the right thing...nice that their insurance is covering it.

It's really great that Gatsby is starting to return to normal...and you will have a hard time getting him to eat just his kibble after that yummy other food ;)
