I will pray for your little Gatsby. I'm so sorry that you all have to go through this! I agree that you need to file a report with the police and animal control.

Good morning and I hope Gatsby is doing better after his surgery. This is so, so sad and I hope the other dog's owner accept full responsibility. I cannot begin to imagine your emotions at this time. Wishing a speedy recovery for Gatsby.

I am so sorry that this happened to Gatsby....it must have been horrible for both of you. I would file the police report especially since Gatsby's medical bills are going to be so high.....like LDandPasquale said....documentation can be very important.

More importantly, I am sending prayers that Gatsby is fine and wishing for a speedy recovery.

Poor baby! I am so sorry you are going through this. I seriously think it is time that owners were held more responsible for THEIR actions with their dogs. People want to blame the dogs and it is the owners who are not responsible and set their dogs up for failure. The punishment for the humans should be far more serious and I think we would see less of this. :(

Lot\'s of prayers going out for Gatsby. I would make a police report as well to Animal Control. I certainly hope that the other dog\'s owner will step and take responsibility for this.

Prayers for Gatsby. I am so sorry this happened. :( The owners of the corgi absolutely should pay his bill!
As for the cost, I recently had a foster who was attacked and her bills were over $8,000...dog bite wounds are horrible. What you see on the surface is only the tip of the iceberg.

I would report it so it will be on file in-case you have to take legal actions that it would all be officially documented so there are no loop holes.So sorry about your baby praying he gets better!

I\'m so sorry that you and Gatsby are going thru such a terrible time. I\'m praying he will have a complete recovery. I would make a police report and hopefully the Corgi\'s owners will do the right thing and pay your vet bill.

So sorry about Gatsby :( I hope he makes a speedy recovery and that the Corgi owners pay the bill without fuss! You were being a responsible pet owner and should not have to suffer, nor should poor Gatsby!! :(
