I see now what AAI is and thanks for explaining it on the other thread. Give Sammy a snuggle for us, that lil squeaky duck is Elvis' fav. toy! We get one everytime we order grom an online retailer. |

He is so funny....he can be sound asleep and if he hears a toy squeaking, he comes running. |
Sammy looks very Happy in his new home . I can't believe his previous owner did nothing to find the cause of his issues for , what 10 yrs ? UGH ! I can imagine that at times this little one had some serious headaches from the pressure in his tiny head.:( |

What an adorable pup Sammy is. |
Thank you for your kind words. :) Yes, Sammy is a little doll. I hope one day he will get his very own home where he can be someone's little prince. Of course, he can stay with me for as long as needed, but my wish is always for them to find their own. |
I just saw Sammy mentioned in another thread and I realized that I had not posted that he went to Rainbow Bridge. His bladder had somehow come loose again and was trapped in his hernia and after consulting with the vets, there really was nothing else we could do. He was really struggling...we got it out and it went back in. We made a decision to let Sammy go in peace. My heart still hurts whenever I think of him...he was still lucid and all but there are only so many surgeries you can perform before you realize something cannot be repaired. :( Here is what is on the YHR website about him: April 29, 2013 - At 6:00 PM this evening Sammy, our little trooper, went to Rainbow Bridge, held in his foster mom's arms. He will be missed but we take comfort in knowing that he is now pain free and romping in the grass and flowers alongside his foster brother, Sunny D, who recently went to the Bridge. Hopefully they both have lots of squeaky toys that they both loved so very much! Thank you to everyone who helped us help Sammy to live a good life in his foster home these past 2 years. He was quite a little charmer. :) |
I am so sorry to hear little Sammy went to the bridge. He fought the long fight & I'm glad he had the Love & care he deserved in his last yrs. R.I.P. Sweet Boy:Pawprint: |
