| help I have a 6 pound yorkie he is 2 years old and he keeps licking by his butt and now he has it raw is there anything i can put on it to make him stop and what can it be? thanks for any help rockys mom |

| Take Rocky to the Vet and have it checked out. He will give you the proper medication as well as tell you what the problem is. |

| ^^I agree, I would have the vet take a look to determine the problem and give you the right solution. It may be anal glands, it may be Rocky needs a fecal test, or it may be a number of other things.

| well thank you the info i am taking him to the vets but wanted to check here to see what i could do before his appt they cant see him till tomorrow. I thought this was a place to get answers and to see if any one else has had the same problem!! |

| The thing about putting anything on it is if he is licking it to the point of making him raw if you put any kind of ointment on it he could lick that and make himself sick so that is why everyone is saying correctly that you need to take him to the vet
