| Adult hypoglycemic episodes I am posting this over here hopping to get more information and suggestions. Callie is an adult dog who seems to have adult hypoglycemic episodes. Her gums get pale, she gets limp, she wont eat but when i get some sugar into her she improves after a few minutes. The vet did a lot of blood work on her and a urinalysis. The thyroid is fine. So now the vet wants me to bring her in when she is having one of those episodes to do tests but the episodes normally are at night and on sundays so I am going to have to call her back to see what she wants to do in that case tomorrow. I really could use some suggestions, support, and prayers I am feeling really defeated right now. What is everyone think it might be? I love my vet but is there a specialist who could better help callie? Callie is 16 pounds and 4 years old.
