A few weeks back my yorkie Zach was playing with his sister and for some reason Zoe's teeth got caught in Zach's collar. Zoe was flinging Zach around trying to release him When I finally cut his collar loose Zach was totally lifeless. His head was to the side and his tongue was blue. I thought he was dead. My friend and I were hysterical. I was so sure he broke his neck. I picked him up and tapped him on the back to see if he would breath and he coughed a couple of times and came to life. By the time we got to the emergency vet he was almost himself. He checked out fine the vet said he was lucky I was outside with them and cut his collar when I did because he would have been dead in a matter of seconds. |
