It just seems to coincidental that the baldness only started after you started watching the other dog. The odds of both of them having a non-infectious condition that causes them to loose hair seems pretty astronomical, though it can happen. | I didn't really think about Peanut losing his hair since Torie (the babysitting dog) came to stay with us, until I started postin ghere and thinking back. I feel so badly. This is driving me nuts. There is no one else to watch this dog. His owner is in the nursing home, her children are scattered all over the U.S. I am the only one here for her. I will just have to tell her that he has to be treated or he has to go somewhere else.
I love Torie too, but, Peanut and Tink are my babies and I love them more... IS that bad????? I just want them to be ok. Tink is fine. But, she is older and stays out of the way of the other dog. But, Peanut sleeps with her sometimes. I will tell the vet about Torie and Tink too. Although, She seems to have no problems. I am going to call the owner now, and kind of give her a heads up on what could be going on. So, that she won't be so shocked when I tell her what the vet says.
I think I am going to scream...... |
