NOT my yorkie but i still need help ! (my other dog) 1 Attachment(s) hi , i know this is yorkie talk but this time i need help with my other puppy that i just bought (the yorkie is fine) one day i came home and he had a weird spot in his wiskers. it didnt look like much but it got worst. Has anyone seen anything similar to this? (picture) He is part papillon and part chihuahua 9 weeks old. |
It's pretty hard to tell anything from the picture. Has your vet taken a look at him? If not, that should be your first step. Congratulations on your new puppy. :) |
she took a QUICK look at it and said it was "probly" just a scratch, and kinda ignored the fact that i was telling her it was getting worst and hes loosing his fur in that area+ the wiskers got all crooked :S Im bringing him to a new vet this week. |
oh and at first it was just a spot on his skin, it turned into (the picture) after a while. Even if it looks like if he scratched his nose, it started with his skin changing into a green ish/grey color, their was NO scratch :S |
He needs to be seen by a vet in the very near future in my opinion. I would try to get him seen today since it is Friday. It is hard to tell from the picture, but it does look like it could be a couple of things which both would require medications; but honestly only a vet could diagnose it. Good luck and let us know what the new vet says! |
I agree with everyone above, see your vet. The sooner, the better. There is another pup that a sort of similar spot on its face: http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/sic...stys-face.html |
Yep, a vet should been seen about this. Please keep us updated on what you find out. |
Better take him to the vet, he may have an infection. |
Can't see pic very well. Hot spot / allergic reaction. My golden used to get spots that looked like that when bite by a tick. |
