| Red bump on Rusty's face This appeared on Rusty's face over 2 days. It was after he spent the day in my mother's backyard so I'm wondering if it's a reaction to something. Does this look familiar to anyone? Thanks for your help! http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d1.../photo-6-2.jpg |

| Aww, poor baby. I would make an appointment with your vet to have it looked at.

| Ohhh poor guy! I would agree with Kristin and have the vet check it out. It might be some sort of bite and I think it would be best to have it looked at.

| Could be a bite, could be a scrape (can't tell if it raised), could be some kind of infection that could grow into a larger problem on the face or get into the blood stream and affect your pup's overall health, or it could be an outward sign of an existing health problem... Too many possibilities. Keep us updated.

| Rusty update: We went to the vet yesterday and she thought it was probably a trauma. She suggested we wait and see it he makes it worse by rubbing it against anything (if so she suggested a cone). Lucky for us he seems to be leaving it alone and it looks a little better. Thank you all for your advice. |
