Thank you Connie. He got the pill, ate, went outside in the early morning heat, and started running like a pup. Still amazes me. Have a great day, and stay cool.

Carlo is a testament to good lovin'! So glad to hear he is doing so well. He really is amazing.

Steve, so good to hear that the big guy is doing so well! I know that the heat takes a lot out of even the heathiest critters (human and dog), so try to stay cool, and enjoy each other! :D

carlo does sound like a truly amazing creature! so glad he is doing so well! doesn't get any better than seeing them run like a pup. hoping that he gets to enjoy a little of this cooler weather! mine are but they were a little freaked out with those crazy storms we had. i had to drive zowi an hour away and an hour home for ultrasound this morning in those storms. she usually loves to go for a ride but today she was a little reluctant to go, understandably. continued positive thoughts for carlo!

i have updated the old thread about zowi and created a new one. US showed her to have an enlarged liver, possibly cushing's disease. more tests will be run probably saturday... thanks for asking about her. i'm very worried, of course, but i will do whatever it takes to get her through this.

Connie, you ARE doing everything you can for her. I hope the experts come up with a good game plan. We are here for you.

Carlo got his blood test today one week after his Chemo pill. The Platelet count is not where it should be, but the bet is not real concerned, so she wants to see the old guy back in another week for another CBC. Otherwise, he checked out real good as far as an exam, temp, respiration, etc. I did notice on his walk today he just stopped 1/2 thru (1/2 Mile Mark) and looked at me as if to say enough. I gave him a minute, gave him the heel command, and back home we went. I guess he really is starting to slow down now. He never did that before.

We all have days when it's more challenging than other days and we are more tired. I hope you have many more healthy, wonderful days ahead with Carlo.

I think we have all learned from experience not to count Carlo out. My guess is he will probably be rarin' to go very soon....and his labs will be fine next week!

Glad to hear Carlo had a good checkup and I pray his CBC results next week bring good news. It must be difficult for you to see Carlo slow down, but he looks handsome and happy as ever.

It is a credit to you and Marge that Carlo is living a happy senior life. Just cherish every moment.
