It is great that your baby is going straight to the Neuro first thing in the morning. The Neuro can check to see if their is anything going on in her brain that is causing these symtoms. I am also concerned that the pup might have a liver shunt, Did the vet mention this as a possibiity? Some her her behviors seem to fit. I do not know if a neuro can detect this or not. I hope your puppy is going to be ok , and will heal .

Actually Dr. Ducote is in Dallas, actually Carrollton, she is WONDERFUL. I had to use her about 8 years ago for late Shayleigh, who passed away tragically.

Yes, bloodwork was done....will do another one first thing in the am.

I really think the puppy got into something. If you are on the phone with Linda tell her what I think. If it were me I would be calling the owner and insisting on a list of meds that are in the house. Something could have been dropped and she picked it up. Such a sever problem wouldn't have shown up over night. Especially the pupils becoming more dilated in such a short time.

Don't know...he sent a text message and said to be there first thing in the morning to get blood re-done, checked and stuff for neuro appoint.

Right now she is doing a lot better. She is sleeping next to her sister's. Still a little restless but not like what it was. Still wobbly or it could be weakness...not sure. Still seems dazed but eyes are so much better looking. Drinking water on her own and did eat off my hand.

Just hung up...sorry I was catching up on Gabby as well.....Didn't I read about a pain med reaction in dogs like this as well? But I agree could be a medication pill dropped......

Yes, the vet seems to think she ate something also...we just don't know what. There are plants there and none of them looked like they had bite marks on it. My husband is over there now with them searching for anything that she could have gotten a hold of. The vet has the list of all the meds she has in the house too.

It really makes me think it's a pill because she is doing better now and her pupils look better.

Ok so that's alright it is probably one of the ywo names. Also you would need a referal to anyone you go to so at least the ball is rolling there.
