This is definitely so encouraging! I know that Ladymom's dog Lady has lived a long and good life with epilepsy also. I hope my Teddy does as well. His life is a good one, for no matter how long he is here, and that is all I really want for him. I just am not sure that I will ever be comfortable with watching him have a seizure. It just is very scary and upsetting. |
I was searching seizures and found your thread. How can you tell the difference in a seizure and choking. Several weeks ago my Sassy ( 8 months old and 6 lbs) was eating with my other 3 Yorkies and she ran around to me, fell on the floor and started kicking her feet, at first I thought it was a seizure but i picked her up and started the heimlich maneuver , she laid her head on my chest as if she was exhausted and then she was fine and running around like nothing happened. Thanks for any advice you can give me. |
