You're welcome.
This is (generally speaking) where I would go in an emergency. They should do just fine with her. I can't say it's cheap though..... | The Rochester Vet was superior and helped on the phone and said Karen was doing everything right. He was able to get a finger inside but the head would not come out and with the next "tiny" contraction he twisted and out came the head and all was well. He hated to twist but did it carefully. He was just about to put her under for c section because Karen felt her baby was just too tired when out popped the little foot and so he did this instead. He commended her on the care and said a vet would not know which dog would have problems with contractions until the first time. Karen did a wonderful job for her first time and for us that have delivered know how tough it can get and know the value of a good vet. It is difficult to identify a good vet when you are going through something for the first time and thanks so much Ellie May! Without identifying a credible vet, I don 't know what may have happened. This is a wonderful forum to be a part of when we take the initiative and offer positive support to all our members so that they will grow and our little yorkies will get better care. It is a great start in a rough world. Thank you everyone for helping me to help her. Mary |
