Friday was the final visit for treatment, the HW test. Skip didn't make it through the door to the vet this time, he parked his rear on the sidewalk, so a manual extraction and hand off to the nurse was needed. I am happy to report that skip is HW free, and feeling great. We went with interceptor for prevention, which is what he was on before we found out he had them. Thanks for all of the info and support, you guys are great.

I love the videos. So cute! I'm so happy to read he is HW free and will have a very happy, healthy life with you. Great news! The videos really put a smile on my face.

When I posted my last message, I was thinking of the relief of no more major vet bills. That very night a stray cat showed up at the house. My wife fed him and today we scooped him in a pet carrier and took him to the vet and now Skip has another brother, currently known as new cat, but I have until Sunday to figure out a name . Skip and I aren't big fans of cats, but this little guy is cool. Our other cat(also known by the nicknames lord foul, adolph catler, and mao tze cat) isn't speaking to us. Dogs are now outnumbered by cats in my house for the first time ever.

I'm sorry! I'm not a cat fan, either. I just prefer puppy dogs. I do love the names you gave to the other cat. It will be interesting to know what you name the new one.lol

While we were at the vet they told us that they had three cats there up for adoption, and they were happy that we are doing this($$$). One of their cats was called Minion. We have named him Minion. I guess the choice wasn't really mine either ( I wanted to call him fox because of his bushy tail). Kurt aka Lord foul is in Skip's chair because Fox, err I mean Minion is in quarantine in Kurt's hang out room. Skip and I are thinking about running away tonight, oops, too late, Skip is asleep on his back up couch. Cat people are sneaky, so beware dog people.

We changed it to MinYin, because there is some Siamese in there. I hate to admit it, but he likes me and I like him. Lord Foul is being more foul hehe. I think I'll start a new post about introducing new pets to the family, because the heartworm issue is done. We want to integrate Min into the family, but he is too skinny just yet. Skip doesn't seem to mind him, but Skip is very protective of his food, toys and treats. I don't have Min's weight but I would guess 5 pounds max, he came to the right house at the right time. I just worry Skip might hurt him by accident. We plan on keeping Min isolated until he gets some weight on.
