Poor thing :( I have the same xpen tent but mine is in cheetah and we love ours too. |
Glad to hear that Tink is home and keeping you busy ;) |
Glad to hear Tink is home and doing well. She's in our prayers. Cute picture of the xpen. Just like a cat to try to take it over. |
Oh my goodness...bless her little heart! She will feel so much better now that she is home with you. I remember I could not believe how big the incision looked across Lola's little belly when I brought her home from surgery. I did buy her a little onesie from Walmart and cut a hole in the end for her tail so that she would not bother her stitches...it worked great. It was also amazing how quickly the incision healed - I think in about 4 weeks, you could barely see it! Give her a kiss on her sweet, little head from all of us ~~~ |
Don't worry about the tears and upset... Quote:

Ahhh, Kathy...your sweet baby will be in my prayers! Hugs to you! |
Glad to hear that Tink is home. May she continue to recover from the surgery quickly so she can move on to enjoying the rest of her life. (Praying for many more good days than bad days in her future) Marg |
I know you are in a defferent state of mind now that she is home. I continue to keep you two in my prayers. |
Kathy, I'm sending you and Tink more hugs and prayers, and hope you are enjoying some snuggling and kissies today. |

Update: Days 1 and 2 at Home! 4 Attachment(s) Friday was kind of scary bc she didn't want to be in her pen and everyone else wanted to see and sniff her. When all began to settle down I let Tink out to walk around the house a bit and to eat. She ate well and fell sound asleep for the rest of the night. Saturday was mostly getting her pain meds right, and getting a schedule worked out. It was all still a bit scary, trying to make sure I didn't forget anything and making sure her potty needs were being met. She was much more comfortable by the end of the day, and so was I! Here's some better pics of her incision, and the test tube of calculi the surgeon removed from her bladder, and her leg where the IV was. Poor, sweet Tinkerbell. I hope she improves with each passing day. I wish I could take away your fears and make things better for both of you. |
Poor baby! Glad Tink is home with you and recuperating. Keeping her in my thoughts and prayers. |
I'm soooo glad she is home. God bless her. I hope she continues to improve. |

Just checking in to see how Tinkerbell is doing this evening. Her incision look painful. :( |
OOH poor baby Tink. That looks so painful. I bet she is so glad to be home and getting lots of loving from her mom. Wishing her a quick recovery and healing from her incisions and a great quality of life. |
Poor Tink...her incision looks so painful. I am sure both of you are happy that she is home now. Sounds like she was quite the little yorkie in the hospital. Lots of loving and cuddling should help you both along. Praying for a quick recovery time for Tink. I will keep checking in to see how everything is going. Hugs to you both from Trixie and I. |

Update: Days 3 and 4 at Home! Sunday: Tink's doing good... she ducked out of her collar today as she is insistant on wanting to take longer walks... she only got 3-4 feet away before I caught her.... the other 2 girls got out of the yard at the same time but Thank Goodness they came right back... I, of course, had a heart attack! (JK, almost though) She started eating on her own... prior days she was handfed from a spoon. And she made her first BM....TMI? Monday: Still doing well... doing more of her usual vocalizations now. Eating well, pulling on our walks and tried to chase the mail truck. I was expecting the results of her biopsy to be in today (Monday), but only the preliminaries are done and they woundn't tell me anything... possibly done tomorrow (Tuesday). So, still waiting, waiting, waiting for results. |
Still praying, praying and praying on your results. Hang in there! |
UPDATE!!! Here it is! The results are in!!!! Urinalysis: a mild form of E-coli bacteria Stone analysis: ammonium urate crystals Liver Biopsy: Arteriolar Hyperplasia (mild), bile stasis Acquired Extrahepatic Shunting caused by high blood pressure in the liver, probably due to the Arteriolar Hyperplasia. No cirrhosis. Plan: ABs for Ecoli x 3 weeks, then ursodiol to thin out the bile. Continue Lactulose and Denamarin, and L/D diet. No reason she will not live a long and happy life! O Boy! O Happy Day! :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D Thank you all so much for your prayers, positive thoughts and continued, unfailing support! Kathy & Tinkerbell |
