I'm sorry to hear about the problems your baby is facing. Is your vet dealing with the seizures? There is only one way to diagnose epilepsy and that is to do an MRI and spinal tap (very costly procedures) and rule out everything else that could cause seizures.
My Teddy was recently diagnosed with epilepsy by a neurologist and had the above tests. He was started on Zonisamide 25 mg every 12 hours. There are no side effects on the organs with this drug. You should ask your vet about it as it may help to control the seizures. The only side effects to zonisamide are noted when first starting the drug and are as follows. Teddy did not experience any of these side effects but was tired the first day of taking it--

Decrease in appetite – most common and generally on higher doses
Personality change to annoying and anxious all the time. – About 5 to 10% do this and need take another drug.
Sedation or unsteady gait – generally only at high doses
 Urinary incontinence - Extremely rare
