So when I got up this morning I called the vet immediately & they said that since there was not blood on her pee pad (she always uses, almost never goes outside) that there was no way that it could be coming from the inside of the "pee pee". The blood was brown & old looking so they said that it was a nick from the groomer. She told me to not clean her with peroxide anymore because it could hurt her where she is cut.

Thanks for all your concern. She has been acting normal all day. She has been eating & drinking normally. (She also showed her spitefulness by leaving a little present for her "grammy & pappy" today when they left her for an hour when she thought they should be playing with her. LOL) She definitely has a mind of her own.

That was scary-sounding and that is why all the concern! If you had said there is one small spot of dried blood on her after going to the groomer, we probably would have thought "nick" too. Glad it was nothing more and your pup is okay. |
