Gilmore would shake horribly when I took him outside to potty for the first few weeks as well. The doctor told me that it was normal - just the combination of the cold weather and him being weak from the surgery. You will be amazed at how much better she will be in a weeks time. |
Well, it's day 4 of Tara being home. Things are going better. She can take several steps without sitting down, so potty breaks are getting easier. Still going outside since she doesn't like the potty pads inside, but she's not shaking anymore. I was worried about her not drinking enough water, but today she drinking ok. It's amazing what we worry about with our babies. The only thing I'm still having problems with is the E-collar. I ordered a soft one and should have it tomorrow. Everyone told me that it would get better each day and it has. Still, I never want to go thru this again. Thanks for all the support. I can't tell everyone how much it has helped. :) |
I am glad she is doing better. Pixie had one leg done in June and it was about the 4th day also that you could tell she was feeling better. The hard e collars are hard on them as well, I am glad you are getting the soft one. |
So very glad to hear that both you and Tara are doing better! Thanks for keeping us updated. |
