Hugs and prayers are going out to Carlo and your family. Poor guy has been thru so much this last year, and I'm hoping he will fight his way back yet again.

I feel bad for him. Everytime I put my coat on, he jumps up thinking I am going to take him for his mile walk. No walks until we get a bood retest next Monday. Hopefully the antibiotic will stop him from catching anything bad. I keep forgetting how old he is for his breed and what he has been thru this past year.

Carlo keeps defying the odds. I am counting on his fighting spirit and the love and care that you and Marge give him to keep him strong. My thought and prayers are with your family. I believe in Carlo.

Carlo has a lot of spunk for an "old" guy. Hopefully his white count will bounce back and he will start to feel more energetic. He has been through an awful lot, but he is a trooper.

I am very happy for the news your daughter received about her poodle...very encouraging!

I'm sending my best thoughts and prayers for Carlo. It really is easy to forget how old they are. They just seem like they are still "kids", but they're not.

You know, I think Opt. 3 sounds just like his little spirit. 2 mile walk, what an inspiration you both are. Our oddest, Little Ole Man Bentley, 17, passed this past Monday & our grief has been tempered with the great memories and joy he has given us over the years. It is so canny how each of them have a personality that reaches into us & helps us guide our decisions & actions to best suit their particular needs. Our little rescue 5 month old Chad is testament to how listening to their spirits help us walk with them. Yorkies don't live with his condition, yet he is thriving. Each day is a joy to watch and he ceases every moment and savors everything. You are wise and have been a wonderful adviser, friend, and a compassionate YT community member. His spirit will wan now and again but behind the treatments, you will see him again no matter the outcome. He knows you are doing your very best for him just as you always have. I think I have an inkling of what you feel when he jumps to go with you, I have seen that in one of mine under similar circumstances. Sometimes you can just carry them outside and sit them in the sunshine a few minutes on your lap and have a little talk. It is a change in his new routine and perhaps just the sun on his face will give him a "sweet sensation" even if it is not what he wanted. Bless your indulgence and vigilance.

Thank you, all of you. Today he looks a bit better, got his Prednosne, Pepsid, and now his Antibiotic. He just looked at his food bowl and walked away. Hopefully later he will eat. He is a strong guy, even when sick. We will do our part as long as he does his! So far, he has shown no signs of quitting. Hope his white Blood cell counts starts to climb.
