Well, the trip to the Cancer Specialist for Carlo was a downer. I figured all of his tests and X-Rays would show nothing. Unfortunately, during the Ultrasound they discovered a growth on his liver. They aspirated it, and will have the results back in a few days. If it is Mast Cell Cancer, I will have a real tough decision to make, as I have to think of his quality of life, and am not sure I want him going thriu more surgeries and more Chemo. He is almost 11, and this is about 1 year longer than the average life expectancy. He was wobbly when he came out to me before I met with the Specialist. They really had to knock him out during the procedure. His rear legs were wobbly. Took all I had to lift him up into the Vehicle. I really am getting old as 140 pounds was never a problem. Then again, Like Carlo, I am also getting a bit long in the tooth. Thanks for all of your well wishes for the big guy. He is now in Marge's office sleeping.

I'm so sorry to hear they found a growth on Carlo's liver. Hopefully its nothing and Carlo will still have more years to come. You are a great dad and he knows you will do your best for him. I'll be sending positive vibes your way and praying the biopsy comes up with nothing.

Steve, I'm sorry to hear about Carlo's ultrasound. I love the big guy, and I'm sending best wishes and lots of prayers. I'll be waiting anxiously for the results.

Steve, I just finished reading the other post about Carlo, I had no idea, and now to read this, just know that you guys are the best and are great with him,(and maxine of course) sending positive vibes and prayers your way, hopefuly the gentle giant (and i don't mean you Steve lol) will be fine and have many more years with you.xo

I'm so sorry to hear this Steve, I hope that it is benign, and that Carlo will be around a good long healthy time with you and your family.

Gosh, I am so sorry to hear this. I bet it was like a punch in the gut for you. I hope it's benign and you don't have a tough decision to make, I wouldn't wish that on anyone. Carlo will be in our prayers.
