It wouldn't hurt to offer her some Pedialyte from a bowl, in addition to her regular water. Did the vet say anything about a bland diet... like some chicken and rice? I would think it might help her and lift her spirits a bit, and be a little easier on her system as she's healing? |
Thank God little Daisy was not seriously hurt. I am praying that she will soon be her normal little self. My baby is named Daisy too and this was so upsetting because I know it could easily been my girl hit by a car. My Daisy escaped from the yard so many times when she was a puppy and of course she ran into the street every time. God was watching our for her because there was never a car coming when she did it. Please give little Daisy a very gentle hug and kiss from us. |
Sending our prayers to your family and Miss Daisy. She sounds like she's doing a little better and I'm sure she'll get better with alot of tlc and the whole YT team behind her. So we send our love From Anita Zach Zoe Chloe and Cleo and the cats. |
Buster is recovering from surgery and the notes from the hospital says that reduced frequency of bowel movements is typical after illness, anethesia, surgery, and can also be a side effect of the pain medication. The said you can give a small amount of vegetable oil mixed in each meal ( one half teaspoon for a cat and up to 3 teaspoons for a big dog) This should produce a stool within 36 hours. As an alternative Laxatone paste can be obtained from your general vet is what they suggested. I am glad your sweet Daisy is doing better. Buster and I send healing thoughts and prayers. |
I'm sure she is sore and hurts all over. It's a miracle she is alive. It sounds like she is getting the absolute best care in the world. I can't wait to hear from you when you say she is totally back to being herself!:) |
Sending you prayers and hope all goes well, how horrible for someone not to stop |
