That is wonderful news! Is he at the animal medical center in Manhattan? |
3 Attachment(s) Hi Everyone We saw Skeeter today for a short time. He seems to be doing MUCH better than expected! This hospital in Manhattan is awesome! He has a neck brace on which makes him look like a worm, but he is OH SO ADORABLE! I thought his behavior might change, but I'm SO glad I was wrong! The Dr told me he cries until he gets lots of attention, which is his normal behavior. He LOVES attention! He was kissing EVERYONE, even his toy! He seemed frustrated to be restrained in his neck brace, but who wouldn't be? I held him with his front legs on my right arm and he actually sort of pushed himself up with them!! His back legs are still paralyzed but I hope that with the physical therapy the Dr showed us to do with him, he will regain his strength. He whined when we were talking to the Dr because it was less attention on him! He's just so easy to fall in love with! The bill is the only negative thing we have to say about this. We almost fainted! Hopefully we can bring Skeeter home with us tomorrow and give him lots of kisses and hugs!! Thank you everyone for all of your warm wishes and prayers! I truly believe you helped him through this! |
Oh I'm so glad he's doing okay, I'll keep you guys in my prayers. Thanks for keeping us updated. :getwellso |
OMG he's adorable! Just so sweet! :p I've been checking for your update and it seems he's improved some more today, too. I'm so happy for you, but I'm really sorry about the bill. That's tough! :( |
I\'m so glad that things are starting to look better for you all! He does look like a little worm in those pictures. He is SO cute!!! Good luck to you. Hannah |
