Try to keep her splint clean and dry. Keep checking it daily if it is there in her leg with proper fitting. Avoid the movement of leg where there is a splint. TC.. |

Unless they go all the way up the leg, I would find them not quite adequate. Usually they don't piddle on that leg, but it can happen. I totally cover the entire wrap on the leg. That is why I use baggies...actually the zip lock ones because they are firmer at the top; and put plastic packaging tape around it. My vet makes covers out of IV bags...they run a piece of gauze around the top through slits so it gathers...you can tie it closed. |
