YT 3000 Club Member | latest update on chester I went and seen him at a 5 am and kissed him and took him out he looked terrible with the iv in his leg, and I picked him up at 730 this am and they wanted me to take him to my regular vet so I took him in to him at 945, that is when he comes in, they have a cone on his head and his iv still in, so he will see him in a few hrs since he has surgeries to do and dogs to see. I trust dr ray so much, im so glad he is there. He looks pretty lethargic but I would too after all of this. I will go to the store and get some rice, chicken and some low fat cotttage cheese maybe. I have been up all nite Im going to bed I will update later this afternoon. Sandy |

YT 3000 Club Member | I guess I dont need to stat a new thread I was not thinking, chester was at my vet most of the day, they give him more fluids and an antibiotic shot and some more anti nausea meds, he threw up twice when he was there. My vet thinks it is gastorenteritis and not pancreatitis his amalayse was in normal limits on thrusday. He is not very perky, he is home with me and Im loving up on him and letting him rest maybe food tomorrow we will see. I have to take him in to the vet for some more fluids tomorrow and he still has his iv and his cone on, he is not real impressed with that, I dont blame him, thanks for the well wishes, this is tiring my poor baby I was in tears at the vet today, my vet is so good and does not do a bunch of stuff to run up your bill. |

| I hope Chester perks up and that he felt like eating today. I hope it is just a gastric upset and not pancreatitis.

YT 3000 Club Member | chester had rice twice last nite twice and was okay so today we went to the vet and he has his iv and his cone off his head. He has kept the rice down and I got some baby food tonnite and give him a little and I looked on the back of the jar and it has onion powder in it bad news, so I went back and go some different stuff and some chicken to cook for him. I still wonder what it could of been, I had used some carpet cleaner on the carpet but it was covered up and I was here but nothing else he could of gotten in to. The total was 673.00 and after 100 deductible I will get 80 percent of it back, I can lump it all together since it was the same thing, Im so relived he is better, he is my baby thats for sure |

| Glad to hear Chester is eating and keeping it down. I'm sure he is more comfortable with the IV out and cone off. Wow, you were smart to have the insurance. The amount you'll be reimbursed is pretty good. Which insurance to you have?
