OMG, you poor thing, I feel your pain. I hope it gets figured out.
I don't know about LS...My thought is a reaction to Sentinel...it's a poison, so wouldn't it still be in his system:rolleyes: if it was given to him on Monday, therefore STILL causing symptoms??:cool:
I don't know, it sounds like he was fine UP until this point......Sending strength your way...

Oh dear that is so heart wrenching. but let's not leap Even with some LS they can be managed by diet and your TLC

This is a quandary that any compassionate dog lover like you never wants to have to face.

For now you know what to do, get all the tests done necessary for the well being of Max.

Leave on hold (as much as you can ) the emotional dilemna.

You will make the right decision at the "right" time for you, Max and your family. Know this to be true.

Me and my lil Brooklynn pray for the two of you. Listen you have to get down on your knees and laid your burden down to the lord. But most importantly once its laid down.... YOU HAVE TO LEAVE IT WITH HIM AND ALLOW HIM TO WORK IT OUT.

I believe he is going to be fine because your love alone for him will save him.

Thanks everyone. I cannot stop crying. I know I may be jumping the gun about LS but i really think something is very wrong with him and I'm scared. I'm going to go lay down and let him fall asleep on my chest now.

I'm praying for you and Max...I hate that your going through this with your little one. We fall in love the minute we meet them and that love never goes away. I know you will do what's best for both of you... Good luck and Prayers....

I'd like to add that this litter has been eating Eukanuba. I know that Eukanuba has been recalled, but I don't know if it's the kind these boys have been eating. I sent the info to my breeder, however it doesn't seem that salmonella would cause Max's symptoms.

Sending prayers to you & Max....I know how you feel since Molly was sick and brought to ER after only being with us for 3 days. Waiting for her blood work & diagnosis was so stressful. I was very greatful that everything worked out and she is now a happy, healthy puppy. :hug:

Have you looked up the puppy lemon laws for your state ? As some states will let you keep the pup and the breeder has to rufund your money and pay all medical costs.

You poor thing. This is exactly why responsible breeders should have Yorkie puppies bile acid tested before they go to their new homes as Dr. Center recommends. Getting a new puppy should be a happy and special time, not one full of heartbreak.

Did she have the parents bile acid tested before breeding them? Did she show you proof before you bought Max?

I'm afraid I don't know the answers to your questions and feel quite foolish. She has bred both of these dogs several times but not with each other. She claims there is no way possible he has LS and claims she called her vet this morning, who agreed with her. I told her we will see what happens with the blood work. She can take him to her vet if she would like. She has been breeding for 7 years and has never received calls like mine.

I suppose I have to wait for test results. This whole situation just stinks. He knows his name already and pees outside in the grass. He's a wonderful boy and I am just feeling overwhelmed with emptiness all of a sudden.

I already checked and Louisiana doesn't have puppy lemon laws. :thumbdown

Still, if this is a reputable breeder, her reputation will be important to her. Hopefully she will do the right thing if only to protect it.

Is your vet familiar with AAI, Chiari and GME as all can have same symptoms and LS can also present same as these as well. I know you are going through hell rite now and I just added to it but you need to talk with your vet about these things ASAP because it could be any of these things. I will be praying for you and your baby.
