I would contact anyone and everyone to warn them about her.... after I got my puppy taken care of. |

Yeah...poor choice of wording. What I mean is that you have been very gracious about all of it....waiting to see what it is. She has been just awful. Just totally shameful behavior on her part. |
This breeder did a number on me too! I do have the emails and the photos and I wish I had said something about it then. |

The worst part is that I did my research. I visited her house, sat with her, met her in person. I don't know how she lives with herself. Even if it's something so minimal, I'm only asking for support. God forbid Cooper did something. She can still support me and help me and direct me. |
I can not believe how insensitive and irresponsible the breeder is being. You don't deserve any of this, especially after how loving and dedicated to Max you have been. I am encouraged by what has been written about focal seizures, outgrowing them, and possible reactions from Sentinel. This waiting and not knowing must be unbearable for you. I keep watching this thread, and I am hoping that soon you will just be focusing on watching your two little boys grow up together, both having very long, healthy, and happy lives. |

As a rescuer, I place dogs in homes and they are like my babies. If an adopter called me with a problem like this, I would be just as upset as them. I simply cannot imagine any animal lover behaving this way. She sounds more like she is concerned with her livelihood imho. From the beginning, telling you to euthanize him if he had LS. What the heck. Not like it could not be fixed...and she knows that. So...clearly this is about money. |

I am so sorry Max is sick. I'm praying everything will work out for him. As for the breeder, she needs more schooling if she wants to continue to breed, she sounds very ignorant about what can happen and to put blame on you right away proves it. The point is within less than a week you have a sick puppy. The breeder should uphold to her guarantee and help you out. I'm hoping it is not LS but it does sound like it. With an LS puppy, giving them a certain chemical can set off the symptoms. Sentinel has to be processed through the liver and if they have LS their liver has difficulty processing it resulting in these problems. The sentinel may not be what is causing the symptoms but there is a good possibility it could have set off these symptoms that were lying dormant. I've seen the head bobbing and the wobbliness in LS dogs. They will even have an episode and then shortly after they will be running around playing again. Some even appear to get better after eating surprisingly. I sure hope whatever it is that everything will work out great for Max. He is lucky to have such a wonderful caring family. |

I would do just what you said ~ forget about her for now. Put her completely out of your mind and focus positive thoughts on you and your family. You will have time to deal with other things later; communications like that are just draining you. (Or at least they would me) Hang tough! :animal-pa |
