Thank you everyone -- Teddy is back to himself today. Great poopies and tons of energy. He ate his entire regular dinner without any added enticements. We enjoyed a nice walk in the cooler temps tonight. :)

Tinkerbell says 'Yay! Way to go Teddy! We went for a walk today too. Oh what fun! I tried to drag everybody in front of moving cars! Sapphire jumped up and bit Mommie right smack on her nose while she was trying to catch us to put our harnesses on. Finny bark, bark, barked the entire way! Peek a Boo couldn't wait to get home to get away from us goofy girls! It was fun though. We all slept the rest of the day! Mommie slept too! We're all so glad you're feeling better.' :D

LOL! I cannot imagine trying to wrangle that many furbutts on a walk. They must keep you on your toes.

This morning, Teddy had perfect poops again. Then Grandpa took him on a walk. Grandpa doesn't do a very good job keeping Teddy from eating things he finds on the side of the road. By lunchtime, Teddy produced diarrhea that included a large chunk of some sort of plant material. :( Hopefully he will be back on track by this evening.

Yay for Teddy! So glad he's feeling better. I hate when they have the poops like that. Now does that mean he won't get any more of the yummy chix & rice??? He may go back to having the poopies again :p just to get it again :rolleyes:

My girls get it every night. It's chix, rice, some type of veggie(carrot, string beans or peas) and I add some of their kibble as well. That's only for dinner. I free feed the kibble throughout the day & leave it out with water.

Most importantly, he's on the mend! :thumbup:

Exactly what I was thinking. Brother Max certainly approved of Teddy being sick and needing chicken and rice because Max got to sample the good stuff too. :rolleyes:

They both always get peas with lunch and dinner. The chicken I will save for an extra yummy treat when training.

My only concern is that the chicken gave Teddy huge eye boogers.

What?? Does it really? I have 2 girls who have more eye boogers than the others but i thought it was because they are the 3 I keep a little more hair on. hmmm

Max had his usual crusties, but Teddy had big, white globs. It was like the chicken was coming out of his eyes because Max couldn't stop sniffing and licking the stuff on Teddy's face. :eek:

After 24 hours without chicken, the boogers went away.

Ewwww. I guess Max could taste the chicken.. LOL I have never heard of that, very strange. :)
