I don't know about day care though. We do have one here in town, but the dogs are kept in outside runs that have ben like shelters in each run. Not good in my opinion. It must be difficult finding ideal boarding or day care. | The one I went to was not even for me or my pup. I went to accompany a friend as she thought her pup would be happier playing with other dogs instead of staying at home alone all day while she was at work. The one that we went to see was inside, so the pups didn't have to sit around in the sun. I felt it was rather impersonal and I would prefer to leave Kaji at home alone with his things, his toys, and his food, water, and piddle pads available to him all day if he needed them. She felt the same.
I think it is hard to find someone to care for your dog the way you care for him/her. My friend and I were so unimpressed with the day care facility, we started to day dream of how we would do it. :) |
