Oh I am so relieved! I was so worried about Pixie and you too. When you saw the harness and no Pixie --- I don't know--I think I would have just fainted. It is really good to know to get them to the vet to induce asap or induce yourself quickly enough so that hopefully the pill does will have a better chance of not dissolving. Thank goodness her belly was full too. OMgoodness....try to rest tonight. Cuddle Pixie and Daisy tightly too!

so glad pixie is okay. just catching up on things. sounds like the 2 of you need some big time cuddle time! hugs.

Thank goodness your Pixie is okay! Good job bringing her to the ER. As Nico commented above, I would have fainted if they had brought out an empty harness.

I hope you had a peaceful night's rest. Tell Daisy to get better ASAP and no more scary stuff from either of your girls!

When they brought the harness in and no Pixie it was like I was in a time warp..........I felt dead......The tears just started to roll and the vet was like OH No she is fine..

They said that from now on with emergencies if vomitng has to be induced not to mess around with the hydrogen peroxide bc it never made her throw up. To rush her straight to the vet and they will use that medication on her.. I never want to expierence that feeling again..
They said that hydrogen Peroxide does not work on all dogs:(

I didn't realize that, so I'm glad you mentioned it. I've only had to use it a few times (thank God) and it's always worked. Now I know to be prepared if/when it doesn't work.

So glad Pixie got rid of that nasty old pill. Will she be getting a nice little treat after all she's been through? :)

Yes she got some organic chicken broth with some white rice, she ate it like she hadn't been fed in days;)

Oh boy - I hate it when they eat pills. One time Barney ate a whole dose of Proin that Daisy took for incontinence. I called the ASPCA poison who told me to go to the ER. Barney was purple by the time we got there and had to be hospitalized over night and put on blood pressure meds.

It's good to make sure your H2O2 is always fresh and after you give it to induce vomiting, run the dog around and give bread.

Oh my gosh, I just saw this today.
I'm so sorry this happened, but super relieved that Pixie is ok!
I've always had this fear when giving our three pills, it can happen so easily!
Thank goodness everything turned out!
