Pixie and I are send Patti and her Pixie good well wishes. I hope everything turns out ok. I think the next time I take my Pixie to the vet I'm going to have her check for LP. Being that this a a common condition for Yorkies. My Pixie jumps up and down on all most anything. My Pixie is sending to your Pixie, get well soon and hugs.:getwellso:hug: |

Patti asked me to post and say thank you to everyone for your support. Right now, with the painting going on, she has no computer access. She said that Pixie is pretty much the same and that she feels so bad seeing her little sweetie in pain. She mainly wanted me to let you know that she appreciates your kindness and support so much and she will call me with any updates so I can post for her. Thanks all! |
Just seeing this thread. Thanking God that it wasn't something neurological. Sending Patti and Pixie my hugs and prayers she will heal quickly. |
I'm just seeing this thread also. Poor little Pixie! I can't imagine how Patti must be feeling. : ( I'll be praying for them both. |
I talked to Patti and she had talked with her regular vet. She told Patti it my go back on it's own, but if not, in a couple of days she should bring her in so they can try to manipulate it back in. She told Patti the longer it stays out, the more likely it will slip out, so they don't want to wait too long. I think Patti is planning to do that on Friday. She is still without internet. She is thankful for all of you! |

Patti, I'm just seeing as I've not been on too much lately. I am so sorry that Pixie is going thru this. I can tell you that Hot Rod went from a grade 1 to a 4 in a matter of months. It sounds as though Pixie might have definitely hurt her knee from the fall you described. Hopefully the swelling with go down quickly and the knew will be able to go back into place. It my case, Hot Rod's ligament was out of whack and it was creating issues. I hope that all will work out for the better. Definitley put her on some supplements in the meantime. It will take a while to get into her system but at least it will help her. Sending hugs and prayers. |

Just seeing this thread and have read through it! What a place YT is! Thank goodness that it was nothing nuero! We will be thinking of Pixie and Patti and hope to hear that Pixie is back to herself soon! Thank you Connie for the updates! What a great friend! |
